I gorilla “abbandonati” dello zoo di Bristol diventano virali dopo le effrazioni, ma la verità è stata distorta

TLDR: The gorillas are being kept there until their new enclosure at the new zoo has been completed and are still being properly looked after in the interim

Thankfully they are moving to the new site in the next few weeks, which for one thing is far enough away that your common-or-garden moron activist won’t bother making the trek to cause trouble there. For what it’s worth, my belief is the break-ins are equal part aforementioned idiots with smelly armpits and gluten free hamsters, and yobs who are breaking in for the thrill of it.

The fact we have people trying to break in and still complaining about welfare at open zoos goes to show those people do not care about facts, and will believe what they want regardless of how true it is. The new site and the sale of the old Bristol Zoo has already been hampered by these break-ins and the Clifton NIMBYs blocking developments, but hopefully once the family moves and their new exhibit opens next year Bristol Zoo Project will really gain some momentum.

If anyone is in the area, it’s a phenomenal collection and their husbandry and exhibits are second to none (especially the ancient woodland one)
