      > Criminal court counts on arrest Putin on way to Budapest summit

      >
      > Russian President Vladimir Putin is to be arrested on his way to the planned summit with his American counterpart Donald Trump in Budapest, according to the International Criminal Court (ICC). The countries that have signed for the ICC are simply obliged to execute arrest warrants, the court said. That goes for both Hungary and the surrounding countries, which Putin would have to pass through.
      >
      > Hungary wants to receive Putin and Trump within a week or two. The country has announced it will withdraw from the ICC but is yet to abide by ICC decisions until mid-next year. However, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán also welcomed his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, whose arrest has also ordered the court.
      >
      > The ICC does not mention Putin in so many words, but points out, when asked, that Member States are ‘legally obliged’ to cooperate. They also owe this to the other 124 participating countries, notes the court located in The Hague. Whether a Member State agrees with an ICC decision or not. According to the court, this is what only the court itself is about.
      >
      > Putin has been making fewer foreign travel since the coronavirus pandemic and the invasion of Ukraine, and appears to be staying home even more often since the arrest warrant. So he stayed away from BRICS summits in South Africa and Brazil, both of which recognize the ICC. Last summer, he traveled to Alaska for a meeting with Trump. The U.S. has always kept out of the ICC.

I can’t really apprehend how this war criminal, responsible for death and suffering of so many innocent gets to fly into the EU with full immunity.

Force that plane down during fly over. Belarus has some experience with that.

Just like how Mongolia had an obligation to arrest him, good luck!

They won’t do jack squat. ICC exists only to pursue small colony country leaders if they don’t obey their colonizers.
      Period

I’ve got questions. Let’s say he somehow gets arrested. What is the plan after that? What if Russia wants vengeance?

why not just let a few Ukrainians with anti-air missiles into the EU.

Arn’t Poland already blocking the extradition of those Ukrainians suspected of being involved with Nord Stream bombing…

The same way as Netanyahu was arrested when he visited Budapest a few months ago?

International Criminal Court forgets that it’s a stupid, useless and weightless institution for a second

    14. They will not do it because arresting a double is pointless

I know they must bring it up otherwise the organization wouldn’t be doing its job but people who actually believe it’s possible are insane. Arresting him would be a declaration of war.

I’m sure Ukraine would be happy to provide safe passage through their airspace.

Keep counting. Think they know how to count to infinity ♾️?

    18. A surprising amount of people are willing to end humanity as it is just for the sake of ukraine
