I don’t give a shite who endorses who. This election is like choosing which variety of potato to boil. Sure there’s differences but most won’t notice and I’m not hungry anyway.
It’s a reflection of the poor state of candidates in Irish politics in general where half a dozen political parties muster up this choice.
One day historians will explain how a band named after a truly brutal act of violence, usually carried out by a gang of armed bullies outnumbering an unarmed victim, was seen by some to be a voice for the downtrodden.

It’s absolute bullshit that our compatriots in the 6 are allowed to run for President but can’t vote.
The amount of Anti-Connolly people on this sub blows my mind. Its like all they do is gobble up the smear campaign and cover their eyes and ears to everything else (including Humphries stances on Grayhound racing, her being connected to the orange order, her vote in favor of sealing the Mother and Baby homes incidents, just to name a few. )
