    1. Correction: 62,80% ~~is~~ was his vote count. 62,83% ~~is~~ was the *presumed* turnout. My apologies

      Update: With all votes counted, the final turnout count is 64,87% & his final vote count is 62,76%, still holding the majority in all regions.

      It’s good slap to Erdoğan. He openly supported Tatar. I hope that he will not orchestrate a coup in there.

      Surveys were portraying this as a close race but results showed it isn’t. Tbh they were pro-AKP companies by the way.

      The problem is that reunification is unlikely to happen due to disagreements on how to share power. Turkish Cypriots want a US-style senate with equal representation for each part while Greek Cypriots want to have more representation in both houses or just a single house based on population.

      This is good news Northern Cyprus said no to Erdoğan’s governor. This will likely hurt Erdoğan on mainland poltiics too
