lol the first battle is to convince people to serve a country that hates them. It’s not the end of the world for the government if they can just import new people to fill in roles as and when needed.
Will this go down well with NATO as it would effectively be a declaration of war against Russia?
Would £100m be for a significant number of British troops as I thought we had ‘unofficially’ deployed quite a few anyway…?
A Whole £100 million. Wtaf. That buys what exactly? Not even a brigade for 9 months. 1000 Combat troops. I bet the Russians are wetting themselves.
Why should we deploy our troops to defend a country that we have no obligations to?
