Post is a bit misleading, its the exhaust plume from one of the stages of a multistage rocket rather than debris, what makes it visible is the relatively high water vapor content both from the thermal effect of the exhaust on the atmosphere at that altitude as well as what is in the liquid oxygen from the exhaust. You’ve also got some nitrogen and carbon dioxide in there.
If you see a particularly yellow one of these thats typically sulfur which means you’re looking at one of the Russian Soyuz rockets, and the Ariane rockets are usually greenish coloured because they use MMH but can also be blue like you see here depending on how much fuel was loaded. I think the newer Ariane rockets are moving towards liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen, which is going to lead to impressively large exhaust plumes but almost totally just water vapor. You typically won’t see either of those at this longitude though given where they launch from.
EDIT: If you do see a really distinct green one thats probably the final boost stage of an ICBM fired from France or the UK heading across the arctic to Russia or China, just fyi. In which case you should seek shelter as soon as possible.

I like the way the Irish pilot has has a tone of voice about him that suggests he may be willing to accept whatever prosiac explanation the ATC throw at him, but in his head he’s thinking, could this be the return of the Annunaki? Ancient astronaut theorists…..say yes.
