I guess this is good news, but as Russia hasn’t changed its stance even a little, not sure what taco thinks was accomplished.

Russia just can’t help themselves, they just HAVE to keep humiliating Trump at every opportunity they get.
Pootin doesn’t need a meeting, he has convinced TACO not to send tomahawks and to endorse a freeze at the current front lines. basically pootin gets most of what he wants. plus a chance to rearm and try again in a couple of years.
The bottom line: just with one call, Putin made Trump cancel plans to sell tomahawk missiles to Ukraine and forced him to postpone any new sanctions indefinitely. While not conceding anything in return, and making Trump look really weak.
