What is all this ‘could’ about, just fucking do it. Fine them, make them do better and claw back some of our money in the process.
So the government fines them and swears that they’ll somehow make sure the costs come from shareholders rather than consumers.
Riiiiiiight.
The shareholders will still get their dividends, the executives will still get their bonuses, and we’ll still get stuck with higher bills.
Privatisation is shit. Any service as essential to modern life as water and sewage has no business being subject to private profit. It needs to be nationalised now.
