“When we have been elected on our values and beliefs in a just and equal world, it’s important that we can represent that authentically through a party which best aligns with those values.”

Labour believes in a just and equal country, it’s completely ideologically different to the Greens. It hasn’t changed on that point in nearly 100 years now!

Did they defect before or after they met him?

Do these MPs really agree with leaving NATO, open border migration, giving up the nuclear deterrent, and blocking vital green infrastructure?

I love the fact that all the weak anti-Green Party talking points are having zero effect on the exploding support.

Polanski says that, although they have no plans to leave the organisation, we should think about building alternative alliances outside NATO in the longer term, as opposed to relying on an unreliable US for security. It’s so terrifying that he’s saying something obviously sensible. Scary stuff.

Better resort to a lie about hypnotherapy instead. Maybe that will work? Oh no, their membership has doubled in a few months so they’re now bigger than the Tories and Lib Dems. The propagandists are going to need some better propaganda it seems.

Like Reform, the best argument against the Greens is a basic look over their manifesto. No party should claim to be Green when they spend their time blocking nuclear energy and new renewable energy infrastructure.

    6. since the May local elections, the two main parties have lost over 100 councillors each, mainly to reform or independent. The greens and libdems are holding their own. Two councillors in Wiltshire defecting is not news. Maybe going forward we will see some more significant movement. (The story is from BBC Wiltshire)

Imagine seeing the current news with Russia and being like “I know what’s a good idea, voting for a party that wants to abolish our nuclear capabilities”
