Why boldly escalate with Russia when taking apart their ability to fight a war is going well. Russia is slowly being picked apart, 40% of their refineries are burnt or burning, weapons plants have been turned into craters… even gas stations have been whacked… not to mention 1/3 of their strategic bombers are gone.
Now Putin doesn’t want to show up at the ceasefire and so a whole bunch of goodies will be sent to Ukraine to continue the slow burn of Russia.
