By the way, because I have been wondering today and didn’t really want to start a new thread anywhere – what are some cool Asterix & Obelix toys? I’ve been googling a little, ignore Playmobil, this I know already.
Had a collection of the comics in early 2000s. Didn’t know they are still making new ones.

I just finished reading it and found it very charming. The German translations always crack me up with their ridiculous names. “Mandarfjanix” and “Infettfrittiertes” were the highlights for me.
I also like the speech pattern of the people of Lusitania with their ÃO and Ô (like Kabeljão) and their melancholic (Saudade) dialogue. It all felt classy and very much in line with previous “travel adventures”.
Given that I haven’t read an Asterix since childhood I was astonished by how much I enjoyed it.
