Asylum seeker found guilty of murdering innocent woman who worked at hotel he was being allowed to stay at
Quick decision by the jury but the closing speech from the prosecution was pretty solid and the defence (argument rather than the specific lawyer) was pretty weak overall.
Headline isn’t really telling the whole story here.
He was an asylum seeker staying at a hotel in Walsall, the woman killed was working at that hotel.
He stabbed her 23 times with a screwdriver on a train platform

That’s a more accurate headline.
