See now this really makes me want to speculate on the details of the crash..
How incredibly tragic. A devastating reminder of how dangerous the roads can be. Thoughts are with everyone affected.
Very awful.
Due to the lack of details, I speculate it was likely a suicide attempt. Shame they had to bring other innocent people into the picture.

It’s interesting how the police ask for people not to speculate when the age of the driver was the immediate thing I started speculating about.
I moved back to Preston 5 years ago after nearly 30 year in Cheltenham, not far from the M5. Saw my fair share of accidents there, mainly involving caravans, going down south.
I have never seen such a ridiculous amount of accidents as here in Preston (from J28-31). It’s every other day and I don’t understand why the road is so difficult? Me and the missus drive a motorhome which helps as we stick in the left lane and don’t get involved in the stupidity.
Why is it so bad here?
And?
We’ve all got the BBC and other news channels, why the need to post it here?
