Putin’s pre war army size was 1.1 million – yet we already surpassed that number in terms of casualties. So looking into the latest decree of 1.5 million soldiers in 2024, there’s approximately 400K soldiers left until entire Russia’s army becomes casualties once again – until the next decree or if they go on a full PMC hiring spree.

Granted this is basic napkin math and doesn’t take into account the NK’s and the possibility many of Russia’s casualties were rehabilitated to go attack again but yeah, take this with a grain of salt.
