So he would rather sacrifice Hungarys friendship with Poland over muscovy? Jesus Christ, you Hungarians need to do something rn.

    3. Realistic-Berry_888 on

kinda flattered he doesn’t find Poland a worthy ally

      >EU-nations are still independent to a degree

Is this regarded as good or bad nowadays?

It,,s time get him out of EU and Nato . He is a despot , and Hungary don,t need him realy . But it,s, time for the Hungery peopel to deside about to belong in Europa or Russia . Europen are tired of despot Urban and his regime

This is crazy. Let’s hope things will change with the next election.

I’ve met a lovely Hungarian woman vacationing in Croatia this year. She’s a retired teacher and explained that Orban built a web through many institutions. In order to get a job or keep your job, you have to be party member or „loyal“ so to say. Don’t know how far this goes.

It’s sad that one member state can be such a pain in the a**. We can only hope for a change next year. Russian influence was (and still is) crazy this year with Romania and Slovakia.

On another note: Should the EU expand further to the east again in the coming years we might see more of this Russian interference.

Don’t worry Polish bros, the Tisza goverment will aim to revive the V4 and may even let Austria and Romania join the fun

    10. I’m sure this will be a long term plan that will impact Europe a lot other than taking newspaper space given the current poll numbers in Hungary and the upcoming elections…

Yeah, I don’t see how this fucker could form an anti-Ukraine bloc with Czechia.

Maybe instead of purchasing rockets for Ukraine we should purchase one way ticket to Moscow for Orban.

    12. Top-Egg1266 on

Too bad he’s getting booted next year. May God bless the souls of Tisza and Peter Magyar

    13. Include Austria and we have a historically very familiar block

Orban should worry about his domestic polls that show him way behind the opposition leader Magyar, instead of planning future alliances that he will not be part of.

He’s going to be disappointed with Babiš. He started rowing back from the anti-Ukraine statements as soon as the polls closed. Yes, he’s corrupt, but he’s also pro-Western, pro-European, and socially liberal.

    16. VladimirIsachenko on

Orban and Fico are traitors who love Putin. Babis will go next and go!

    17. bordapapa on

Well, thanks to Orban, we had the Visegrad One, with only Hungary in it. 😀

    18. Weelambchops on

Be prepared for Trump to try buy the election for Orban, like he just did for Milei.

    19. Itt az idö, Viktor bacsi – how does it smell, the own medicine?

Visegrad might not be an appropriate name if Poland isn’t in it anymore.

If have some alternative names that might be appropriate:

      – Coalition of Landlocked States that need help of others to import basically anything
      – Anti-EU EU fund receivers
      – Schizophrenic pro Russian NATO members
      – Stockholm Syndrome Club that forgot about 1956 and 1968

Gues Hongary didn’t learn what can happen if Russia will take control again

    22. Its so funny countries profiting most of the EU are always against it.

    23. This is just random rumbling. In practicality, Hungary is in this alone. It’s honestly fascinating. There are elections soon in Hungary and Orban is able to talk only about Ukraine…

    24. Great-Stop1392 on

Yeah, that is definitely something everybody wants. Join the Orbán command and kiss Putins ass like a teamwork. With a country that could not hate Russia more.

Wake up Victor, your wet dream is not real.

And once again let me apologize to all our Polish brothers, many of us do not share this wannabe Putin’s idology
