As unexciting as it is, it’s great to have some competition in the Irish hotel sector. I always stay at PI when I visit London, very reasonable compared to other similar options.
Would have loved a design a bit more sympathetic to the surrounding area – it’s a modern design in the “Victorian Quarter”, and taller than the surrounding buildings so will stand out quite a bit. I’ve no problem with the height, but I’d love a building like that to have more consistency with the area.
Great to have more hotels in Cork though, it was/is woefully underserved.
Fantastic no frills hotels and usually at a decent price. Whenever we head to the UK for gigs or games it’s oir first port of call.
As the grey unyielding concrete, makes a city of my town…
Maybe they’re eyeing up the very lucrative illegal migration state contracts.
For “tourists” of course
Have stayed in two of their Dublin hotels in the last 6 months, both good value and good sleeps were had. Have Cork booked for a gig next summer.
