Cosa pensano le persone in Kosovo degli edifici e dell’architettura dell’era jugoslava?

I kinda like the Yugoslav-era buildings especially in Prishtina

I see a lot of online “Eastern Europe” aesthetic stuff, things like Molchat Doma edits, squatting Slav memes, POV: Eastern Europe urban decay TikToks etc. It’s kind of been meme-ified internationally

I’m curious how locals feel about it. Sometimes it feels like outsiders romanticize that grey socialist look while locals see it as just everyday life or even want it gone

Is there nostalgia for the architecture/socialist-modernist era?

Is it seen as part of Kosovo’s identity or mainly a relic of Yugoslavia?

How does it compare to the newer developments?
