Far-right German-language rappers are flouting hate speech rules by spreading extremist rhetoric and disinformation on platforms such as TikTok, an AFP investigation found.
In one video, a rapper named MaKss Damage cited the war in Gaza and suggested Adolf Hitler was right to warn of destruction caused by Jews, with the artist’s face morphing into an anti-Semitic demonic silhouette.
“Back then it was Germany, today it’s Palestine,” MaKss Damage, whose real name is Julian Fritsch, rapped in the video he posted on TikTok, displaying a Germanic triangle tattoo synonymous with the far right.
“This time, people are questioning and are disgusted. They listen to old painters talk and understand history,” he added in a reference to Hitler, who aspired to be an artist.
In the same song, he referred to an unfounded antisemitic conspiracy theory about September 11, 2001, according to which the Jewish owner of the World Trade Center stayed at home because of prior knowledge of the attacks.

Being a Nazi is dumb enough, but being a Nazi and choosing a black art form to express your feelings is just mind boggling

Filthy Frank was ahead of his time with his Pink Season album. Sad that White is right, the song criticizing such hypocrisy from conservatives and nazis isn’t on Spotify because it’s “offensive” to republicans, but at least it’s on YouTube.

That guy is a total nobody but regardless we should just ban TikTok and all the other social media apps that rot the brains of Europe’s youth. Totally worthless and a drain on society.
MaKss Damage’s idol Adolf would surely approve so I wouldn’t expect much resistance from him and his ilk. 😉

We need to counteract this by having proto-Nazis push love speech!

If we learn anything from the US, it should be that democracy is actively being undermined by those who disregard the rules and processes.
This is not self-correcting and needs to be actively fought, if possible within the rules but if that is not effective the rules need to change.
We can’t have democracy being destroyed, because the price to win it back can be many thousands of life’s and much suffering. We should fight the fight before it is lost in the first place.

Neo-nazi rappers huh. The original nazis would call rap “degenerate music”.

Why rap? Surely there are other music genres that fit the mold and have traditionally Nazi shit

All countries in witch this is against the law should sue the social media companies until they stop that shit. And if the law doesn’t allow that it should be changed.

>rappers are not the best people, many spreading explicit content, not always true, on social media even
Oh wow.
Interestingly rap has its roots in the culture of youths who felt the urge to speak up against seemingly oppressive structures of society.
I wonder how mainstream society and authorities reacted back then.
