His sacrifice will never be forgotten.
“Together with wounded soldiers, hospital staff, and civilians, Nicolier was taken to the Ovčara farm and was executed on the night of November 20-21, 1991.”
This is not just about the remains of fallen soldier, but about the consequences of a war crime.
As a family member of the missing soldier. I am glad that Jean-Michel’s mother can finally bury her son after 34 years of waiting. It is special kind of pain.
He saw injustice and died fighting against it.
This is one of the best news I’ve read in weeks and it actually brought a tear in my eye.
He deserves monuments, streets and venues in Croatia to be named after him.
A true hero.
Had no idea who he was, after reading his wiki the Frenchman had balls almost as big as his heart.
Happy his remains were found and now croatians may thank him looking at his tombstone.
