Ho dovuto raggiungere l’area generale di Findel per 2 giorni consecutivi. Ieri c’era la manutenzione, quindi il P&R era gratuito. Oggi leggo il grande cartello che dice "12 Euro/ora" a meno che tu non abbia l’app CFL P&R. Dopo un po’ di confusione, ho creato un account, ho aggiunto la mia targa e ho potuto parcheggiare gratuitamente.
Qual è il punto di tutto questo? Quindi, se permetto alla CFL di rintracciarmi "in ogni momento" Posso parcheggiare gratis? Non basterebbe il tracciamento delle targhe per verificare se gli utenti utilizzano il parcheggio >24h e basta? Cosa limita questo? Car pooling?

Yeah I am not happy with this tracking shenanigans neither. It would be enough if your car license plate is recorded when entering the p&r and you have a max of 24 hours to be stationed there before getting hit by really expensive parking fees. But somehow we are also falling for this bullshit where everything and anything needs have an app.
It honestly is pretty infuriating.
The parking is for you to take the tram afterwards and get further into the city. People who have business in the Findel are are not supposed to use the Parking.
The app actually tracks if you leave a certain radius (1km?) and than your Parking fee is weaved. If you remain in the are, you still have to pay. That’s why tracking the plates does not work.
That is the logic behind it. If it is actually smart and useful is another question.
