You just know this is going to anger the Trumps among us
Is there evidence the policies which fall under ‘net-zero’ will lead to lower bills? If so, is it going to lower energy bills but then lead to higher taxes/costs of goods?
I don’t keep up with this side of things, to be honest.
We’re responsible for a minute amount of carbon emissions. So small that our contribution to global reduction will be offset by Brazil, china, Indonesia, India etc in years.
I’m not saying we shouldn’t try, but we also shouldn’t hamstring our economy when no one else is making the progress we are
Investing in Renewable Energy is akin to the person who plants a Tree knowing that he will never live to sit in the shade of it on a warm day. Policy driven by Election cycles has badly impacted this Country. We are doing the right thing with Renewables for the future generations
