A group of men dressed as police officers and carrying assault rifles used explosives in an audacious daylight raid on a laboratory in southern France Thursday afternoon.
The target was the Pourquery laboratory in Lyon, which deals with precious metals, including gold.

France again? Damn.
I’m going to guess it begins with an R and ends with an A.
Impossible France has gun control.
Huh. I bet impersonating ICE in America would let you get away with murder. And you don’t even need a proper uniform. A shitty ICE vest, a face mask and jeans would work just fine.
Already arrested, I’m sure they thought that would be like GTA 5
netflix is funding these heists. it’s obvious now
Honestly not surprising, I imagine the Louvre heist was quite a shocking revelation to many criminal groups (in France and Europe as a whole) who will be looking at many ‘high value targets’ with antiquated, underfunded, or inadequate security which were previously seen as too risky to attempt.
Sleep easy, another state robbery… they are looking for a way to slightly replenish the coffers, and in the process to enrich themselves a little in a discreet way without being tracked too much
So I was wondering why the police officers were raiding a lab and why heavily armed men were getting dressed nearby.
Feels like France is testing out new movie plots…
They went in with police armband and police flashing lights on the car only to be armed with AK47…
Dumbasses.
Fuck, i wanted to be interviewed for a position in this laboratory a few month ago. I dropped the idea finally.
But for correction, Pourquery is a material testing lab that deals with all metals, and not only precious one. I don’t even think it is the main thing they process there. They do composition testing, mecanical testing metallography and everything in between. They work for medical, aeronautical defense industry mainly as far as i know.
There is far better laboratories to raid in lyon dealing with gold.
