How many people have died from assaults in Ireland this year? I live in Poland and never hear anything like this.
Irish Times reporting he was attacked by a group if youths following an incident on a bus…one line of investigation is that the dead man had asked a group of youths to stop making noise. Fucking hell. This is why bystanders don’t get involved with scrotes acting the bollix on public transport…you can lose your life. RIP

I had a mate who bought a house in a new estate in Kildare town. He ended up moving as the social housing allocation seemed to go to extremely rough families. The playground became a no go area, lots of aggression.
Where’s the outrage and protest for this?
We need to build more juvenile detention capacity and lock these scumbags up and throw away the key. We are far too tolerant of “misunderstood” youths in this country and this is where it ends up with this poor man murdered on the street.
So sad and Ireland is absolutely dangerous place now and is also getting a ‘Racist’ reputation internationally. All tge good work undone in last 3-4 years.

Got a train for the first time in a while, noticed there was security now at the stations…but nothing on the train which makes no sense to me
I live really close to where this happened. That night, I was out my back garden, and you can usually hear people who are walking home from the pubs. I’m wondering now if I had heard the people who did this. (Not when it happened though.) This is insane. I hope they find who did this. I can’t imagine what his family are going through.
