    1. Good and bad but hard not to be disapointed by that.

Ireland were the better team for a long stretch of that but just couldn’t get the scores to put them out of sight.

Really collapsed a bit in the second half.

I thought Crowley was ok but certainly not the answer to all the problems that he’d been hyped as. Predergast had another shocker when he came on. 10 is a problem.

    2. Congrats to NZ with the result. Deserved it in the end but some bad unforced errors, a woeful line out from Ireland and some frustrating reff’ing. McCloskey was great to see having a good game and Lowe decided to wake up.

Our problem is we don’t have enough lads from New Zealand. Only 2 New Zealanders starting and one on the bench for us. A couple of more and we might be onto something I reckon.

Ireland the better team for most of it, fell to pieces at the end, they’ve been on a downward trajectory since the World Cup, hope they can get better in the next while.

Both teams made a lot of errors.
But the ref and the tmo were very bad in general.

Frawley has to start next week
Shocking decision to take mcclosky off

Regardless we are fucked in 2 years
The twam is too old now
Next year he have to forget about the 6 nations and focus on getting the youth playing international rugby
This team doesnt have the legs for 80 minutes

Ireland were the better team for 60 minutes but couldn’t score. The ref didnt help and the TMO needs to be removed from the roster and never left near officialing again. But even with that Ireland lacked the cutting edge to make their dominance pay. That is what cost us the game.

French ref, what did we expect?! Between the yellow (not red) card, the forward passes, Barrett not calling it, the high tackle at then end of the first half (which should’ve been a yellow), it’s actually quite encouraging how Ireland managed to hold NZL off for so long!

They had control of that game and let it slip. Doesnt seem like we are any further along than the World Cup. The decision to retain Farrell has put us here.

Hard to see where this team is going. Most of these guys are going to be 34-37 at the next World Cup. We’re going to continue gassing out late in games. Paul O’Connell also needs to be under serious scrutiny for our line out performances.

We do this every single World Cup cycle. While other teams, like New Zealand today, are blooding young promising players who will be their key men come the next World Cup we are still rolling out yesterday men past their best who are being picked on what they did years ago. We’re heading straight towards yet another World Cup quarter final exit.

Ref was at it from minute one. Sending off our best player from a forward pass. The US saw world rugby shite itself in public

a team in decline. 11 of the current squad will be over 34 come the World Cup

Massive rebuild job gonna take place after the world cup. Lot of these lads will be retired after it I’d imagine.

The officiating was definitely off but you can’t put that down entirely to the loss. They completely ran out of steam in the second half and couldn’t keep up with NZs momentum. They had loads of opportunities that they just couldn’t take and the kicks behind the line while they were covering good ground going through phases was a terrible call. The team doesn’t seem to be building up to anything and I think there is a serious lack of real leadership on the field.

The only thing worse than England winning the football WC would be Ireland winning the RWC.
