So apparently most teachers now want schools to be secular. Imagine that in 2025, teachers thinking education shouldn’t revolve around preparing seven-year-olds for their First Communion. Shocking stuff altogether.
Maybe, just maybe, it’s time we stopped letting the Church run the show and treated schools like places for education instead of catechism. Faith formation can stay where it belongs in the parish hall, not before maths class.
We’ve moved on in just about every other part of Irish life. Might be time the school system caught up with the rest of us.

How are they going to distribute it I wonder? In the post to parents? Online? It says from birth to 12 so can’t be just through school or pre-schools.

There’s a lot of parents who’d have different opinions on this from their partner. Sounds like it can only be filled out once per household though
