      well FG were the ones *doing* the smearing so people put two and two together, Si. your faux outrage won’t distract from the fact that you and your party are powerhungry liars.

      The whole thing just screams of two lads more interested in keeping their seats warm than actually doing anything. Harris wants to *look* strong, Martin wants to *look* calm and neither will lift a finger as long as the coalition stays intact.

      Same old story: one acts like a child, the other plays the adult in the room, and both are just trying to keep their hands on the wheel a bit longer.

      Has enough time to play politics attacking FF, but apparently doesn’t have enough time to bother issuing a statement about the person who tried to murder people in Drogheda last Friday?

      Harris’ spiral post-election has been spectacular. Obviously Martin deserves his grilling for the Gavin disaster but I’ll be stunned (well… not really) if people don’t also start asking questions about Harris’ leadership.

      He’s been whinging and finger-pointing and indulging in all this whataboutism.

      A deeply unpleasant guy heading up a party that seems to be doubling down on unpleasantness as they get more and more desperate.

      So Simon Harris is surprised that that a former FG Minister advised that FG should use negative campaigning in an election where FG were already using negative campaigning??

      Where the negative campaigning by FG got even worse after he advised that they use negative campaigning??

      I wonder why they’d come to that conclusion Simon.

      Simon Harris’ ability to obtain and retain high political office while being an absolute horrible person as well a complete failure is honestly admirable.
