      Why don’t we shoot them down?
      Like not above residential area, but the moment they’re above a field per example.
      At this point the drones (from Russia ?) are having a European tour and no one touches them?

      Waarom zouden Russische drones met de lichtjes aan vliegen als het donker is? Als je wil bespioneren, dan doe je dit toch zo subtiel mogelijk? Zonder lichtjes vliegen en je kan zo lang vliegen als je wil zonder opgemerkt te worden.

      Volgens mij zijn het gewoon jonge gasten die nu overal opstijgen omdat ze dan hun 5 minutes of fame krijgen op het nieuws. Hoe meer die drone verhalen in het nieuws opgeblazen worden, hoe meer er cowboys zullen vliegen in de buurt van luchthavens en militaire domeinen.

      Hoe moeilijk kan het zijn om te zien waar drones MET LICHTEN landen in het donker?

      Misschien waren ze onderweg naar de buren van zaventem, de militaire basis in melsbroek.

      >There have been 30 drone incidents in Belgian airspace this year. That’s twice as many as in 2017, when there were 15 incidents. Alain Kniebs, spokesperson for air traffic controller Skeyes (formerly Belgocontrol), said this evening.

      >In 2017, an incident disrupted air traffic near Liège-Bierset Airport for a period of time. However, all the incidents in 2018 were resolved quickly, says Kniebs. “Almost all of this year’s incidents occurred near airports. For example, a pilot might spot a drone and alert the control center.”

      Incidents with drones are normal since almost a decade, having each year more and more drones. Now every case is echoed in the headlines, followed with the mantra “Russians are here and can do whatever they want”.
