Weird story. Both of them behaved like idiots on social media, and regularly did back in Twitter’s heyday.
It seems ridiculously reaching to claim being called a “bike nonce” is claiming someone is a pedophile, it was clearly a moronic and childish insult, not a direct accusation.
What Barton is being hauled up in court for, quite rightly, is posting Vine’s home address on social media and encouraging people to “go after him”.

Barton called him a nonce and made multiple other comments insinuating he was a pedophile. This is textbook libel.
