They need to start giving people the full data so the government can stop passing the bucket and blaming the previous government.

The accidental release numbers are 40-60 every year going all the way back to the 80s. Your main cuts came in 2010 then 2014 but the accidental release numbers stated the same.
Blaming it on cuts isn’t viable if it was indeed cuts it wouldn’t have taken ten years for the numbers to start doubling then triple previous years.
Both governments are to blame you’ve lesser experienced staff and higher turnout ratios and HMPPS saying the reason for the jump in numbers is from the early release scheme.
No doubt he did a deal with ITV for the exclusive footage. Fair play he might as well make some cash from the fiasco.
