Il vicepresidente di Taiwan chiede legami più stretti con l’UE in un raro discorso a Bruxelles

Taiwan could be a key partner in the renewal of the EU economy, as explained a few weeks back (particularly in regards to chip production at scale).

Europe could supply Taiwan with cutting edge military kit and intelligence, for example.

It’s time to stop being a naive bystander, praying for the “rules based world order” to come back – it won’t. It’s time for Realpolitik and aggressively pursuing our own interests, just like everyone else does.

As we speak only the French and the British have patrolled the taiwanese strait frequently multiple times since the past 30 years and Germany twice recently.

Taïwan is currently interested in German frigate and French fighter jet for modernisation of their Military.

There is also big interest into the British missile Spear & Spear-EW.

A French pharmaceutical giant will also build 2 different factories in Taiwan for more autonomy in medicines/drug/vaccin production domestically in the island.
