Good. Now recognize Taiwan as independent country.
That’s not what happened. The title is hugely misleading. This story is quickly becoming a controversial topic in Taiwan.
She met with an NGO in the building which also housed the European Parliament. She was not “hosted by the European Parliament”. HUGE differences.
IPAC, the NGO which hosted her, was funded by the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy and some other orgs. The Taiwan Foundation for Democracy is founded by the Republic of China’s (Taiwan) legislature and controlled by the Republic of China’s (Taiwan) foreign ministry. Essentially, she hosted herself after renting a room in the European Parliament’s building.
Relations between China and Europe are on the verge of collapse due to sabotage by the US-funded Inter-Parliamentary Union.
