Fun fact: when I resigned from church, I got that Finnish painting of fallen angel printed in the letter they sent me about my resignation.

“Guernica”, “The Kiss”, and “The Reply of Zaporozhian Cossacks” are my top 3 among those paintings shown.

Denmark. Is there a famous painting of the little mermaid or something, because the one I know definitely isn’t a painting.

So it’s map of “the most famous paining from european countries?” Where are the names of the paintings cause I do not recognize the one from my country (Czechia).

A Giacometti for Switzerland, The Little Mermaid for Denmark and Venus de Milo for Greece.

The definition of a painting seems quite flexible here

I absolutely love that a painting of London has been used to represent France.

    7. Not sure what’s the criteria of choosing a painting here but if it’s the most famous work of art then for Poland that would be Stańczyk or anything from Beksiński.

Can we please get a more interesting painting for Bulgaria? As fun as paintings of a group of guys dancing are, I am tired of seeing Ruchenitza everywhere. Why not something by Ivan Milev or Vladimir Dimitrov Maistora for a change?

That’s Venus de Milo, it’s a sculpture not a painting.

What’s the Hungarian one? I don’t know anything about Hungarian art but it looks interesting.

      I would’ve put Akseli Gallen-Kallela’s *Kullervo’s Curse* on Finland.

For the Italian you picked one that is actually owned by France.
