    Questo distintivo con monogramma fa rivivere qualche ricordo? Trovato nel Belgio meridionale. Forse una scuola o un’accademia.

      I don’t know but it does resemble the Freemasonry symbol in a way. Not saying they are related, but there is a similarity.

      It is a military insignia from before WWII, I think. But I don’t know which division. 

      Perhaps u/WarHeritageInstitute knows?

      Where was it found? Southern Belgium is pretty vague. It look like a military insigna, probably not even belgian.

      Given the corrosion and font, it’s probably bronze or brass from around 1880–1920.

      Can you show the back? That would be useful.

      Could be something related to the ‘Arts et métiers’ ? We have sole schools in wallonia going by that name. ( Les arts et métiers la Louvière, which I studied at many decades ago)
