I don’t know the Spanish political landscape. Some acronyms with percentages won’t tell me anything.

    3. ahyesmyelbows on

Petition to require all political maps in r/europe to clearly indicate which are the nazis and which are the libtards. No there are no other parties in existence. Only far right nazis and extreme woke left.

What is Eh Bildu & PNV?
      (I dont know spain politics)

    5. the_graph on

Spain has a proportional electoral system, a map like this is not very useful

    6. BadWatcher on

And there it is, another country self destructing to the rightoid degeneracy.

    7. baeverkanyl on

The next election in Spain is unlikely to take place before 2027.

I wish it was like the map shows and would be all PP again.
      Which was bad.
      Very bad.
They gave pardons to tax evaders and gut funds for health and education.

Bur this time, they’ll have to make a coalition with Vox, that are  trump-like slogan shouting idiots and want to turn the clock back 50 years. Yaaaay…

Very obvious that Pedro Sanchez is a “dead” politician and he is not gonna win again… First of all he is surrounded by corruption cases, but then, there’s the general state of the country, whcih is faaaar from good… spike in criminality, the bad state of the economy and the worst of all, the nightmare housing crisis that he doesn’t seem able to solve. On this matter he talks a lot but does almost nothing useful, no success, the prices don’t drop.

For the sake of the future of my fellow citizens, the women, the LGBTQ+ community, the immigrant community, the public healthcare system, the elder people and their pensions, etc I hope sanity prevails and the cancer that is PP and Vox stay out of power.

Right/ultra right wing poison is infecting Europe as a whole and if we don’t fight against it, it will end up killing the host

    11. PP is my favorite party. No idea who they are but the name is funny

    12. TheRealJohnBrown on

Okay, there is one numerical significant conservative party and there are two significant civilized parties. Since the votes on the left are split between those two parties, the conservative party will become the strongest party and almost the whole map appears blue. But the civilized camp will still gain the majority of the seats because Spain has a proportional electoral system.

      Did I get it right?

    13. Weary_Ad1739 on

So the party that is constantly making up lies about catalan teachers not letting spanish kids go to the restroom and saying we are nazis for wanting people who work here to learn catalan are projected to win again thanks to other spanish regions. Fantastic.

We really should have gotten our independence eight years ago.

    14. theaselliott on

We don’t have legislative elections in Spain. We have general election where we both for a closed list that includes both the candidate for the executive power and the deputies (legislative power) that they will appoint.

    15. Trollercoaster101 on

So…center-left is dead in Spain, just like it happened in the rest of the western world?

    16. Annanymuss on

Idk from where the stats are gotten but this looks really inaccurate

    17. Mortomes on

Another good example of how most election maps suck. Land does not vote.

    18. Pretty-Ad-3730 on

Why is Vox not sucessfull like Chega in Portugal?

Chega is now our second biggest party on track to take power in next legislative elections because they are the oposition now.

Im not sayin this is a good thing.

It is interesting if Spain show us how we can avoid it.
We usually follow tandem in politics in Iberia.

same story again everyone is complaining. People will vote for populist right. As a Hungarian i would give one of my hands to finall get a center left party.

    20. wannacumnbeatmeoff on

Weird, Spanish news had PSOE 15 points ahead of PP in the polls only last week.

What is the source of this??? Who are these Nowcast_EU?? I checked their X profile and web and didn’t see where the sources are, so it could perfectly be: whoever-did-this’s balls.

I’d label this as “fake shit”.
