      Yes. Stop overhyping AI. Stop fueling the fear of missing out.

      Stop wrecking new European digital legislation in a vain attempt to be more like America. It doesn’t work. America’s power is not based on great politicial choices. And it will kill the few AI companies that can compete with the cloud giants based on trust.

      Stop changing Europe into something not worth defending from American influence.

      von der Leyen is a corrupt idiot who blindly believes in the authoritarian/fascist hype that AI powered mass surveillance is a good thing. She blindly believes the assholes at Thorn and won’t stop trying to force AI powered mass surveillance on everyone with Chat Control, and mandatory age verification.

      Counterproposal: The biggest potential gains from AI are in more conservative areas. I don’t care about AI memecoins or AI boyfriend apps, but AI has enormous potential to improve public services, governance, utilities &c. If more hype helps achieve that sooner, I can tolerate the hype.

      But ffs I wish that in the meantime my Facebook feed wasn’t full of AI-generated clickbait
