      I cannot fathom this violence and cruelty.

      There are certain things which will happen within a population, and we just have to accept it and try to keep the level of incidence down.

      This is not one of them. This is utterly horrific.

      That boy was let down badly. In my mind, that is on us all. How can this persistent abuse happen in our community and not be picked up? How?

      Yes, that woman is responsible, and responsible solely, but there’s something in there for us all. That’s my view. I am incredibly shamed as a collective community that we were able to do absolutely nothing to help this young boy and young boys like him. It’s wrong.

      I’m glad the father has been prosecuted, too. I can’t imagine how much that child suffered. He only lived with them for 3 months ffs.

      *X-rays carried out by another paediatrician showed the boy had previously suffered a fractured rib that was starting to heal.*

      This woman likely crushed puppies and kittens as child.

      Such monsters never change. They live among us. The worst thing is that they look like us, I wish they actually looked like monsters.

      My god he was four years old. A baby. What must his life have been like? This is heartbreaking.
