BA can soak up all of that PR as long as our man here is looked after. I hope more companies pile in and he gets a proper swish experience out of it

    2. And he flew budget so it’ll be a nightmare coming through airport security. The only airline that really understands is ***BA***

Ryanair could have easily have laid out their dirty blue and yellow carpet for this man but they didn’t, BA swooped in and look classy.

    4. How much has he actually lost on that ticket?

I’m with team Ryanair and more than happy with this decision if it helps keeps my flights to Spain down to £15.

Ryanair doesn’t care. They know they’re cheap enough not to worry about losing customers. I’m pretty sure we all pledged to stop using them after the way they acted during COVID, same with JD Wetherspoon, but cheap prices usually win in the end.

An airline is not responsible for you not making your flight. The same applies if your car breaks down on your way there or you sleep in and miss your flight.
This is a big reason why people get travel insurance.
This has been completely overblown. It gets lots of clicks so the media push it.

Ryanair will doesn’t need any “feel good” PR and doesn’t need to go against their policy as it’s then unfair to other passengers who haven’t made their flights for whatever reason.

    7. Weirdly could have been such an easy PR win for Ryanair…

Guess they really don’t give a flying fuck.

I will NEVER fly with Ryan Air, sh*tty company run by a sh*tty man!

      A PR open goal.

Mind you, RyanAir really don’t need to give a shit. They’re cheapest for the most part, and won’t lose out on revenue. You don’t choose to fly RyanAir.

This is more of a win for BA, than a loss for Ryanair. They won’t care, or lose customers. BA will lap up the positive news and *may* gain some customers.
