Come impedire a Marder di distruggere la mia macchina? Sono stufo che la martora danneggi la mia macchina. Prima hanno masticato l’antenna della mia macchina precedente. Recentemente un pezzo di cavi del sensore sulla mia auto attuale e ora anche la guarnizione del vano motore. Cosa posso davvero fare per scoraggiare questi animali? Mi sta causando centinaia di danni e frustrazione.

Eucalyptus or tea tree oil rubbed on the roof of the car, inside the bonnet – redo it every 1.5-2 weeks. But go and get a marten deterrent device installed at a service centre. Costs 100€, stops damage under the hood. Won’t stop them eating your antennae- only the oil will help with that. Weather dependant you may need to reapply more often.
– Free roaming cats (plural; while cats won’t win a fight their presence and smell-traces may be enough)
– Coffee, a night off and a slingshot
– closed garage.
