Some people seem to think houses can be built overnight.

The number of houses in the plan is basically the same as all the parties had in 2024.

Months waiting for this plan, could have been launched whenever he likes, and he launches it on a day when he’s not in the country to talk about it in the evening.

Absolutely obvious that this is deliberate.

The only question is whether James Brown is so much of a coward that he couldn’t face questioning himself, or whether his party have so little confidence in him that they directed him to make himself scarce.

Has anyone actually got a plan that sounds believable ?
Build as many houses as possible. And surely the councils have to be involved ?

~45%+ of houses built since 2017 were by funds or the state. I wonder what the problem could be?

We have potential buyers stuck renting because supply is locked up renting to the those potential buyers.

HALF OR MORE OF THE HOUSING BUILT IN THE LAST 8 YEARS WAS FUNDS OR HOUSING SCHEMES

The simple solution is if you rent a house for 4 or 5 or 10 years you should have the option to then buy that home. We don’t have a supply issue, we have a ownership issue.
