Yup and one stoke of a pen by the orange moron could see our economy back in the stone age.
Edit: ignorance here is frightening, he is only in his first year and traiffs was the quick and easy first step, now the reduced regulations are starting, tax cuts, and he’s completely getting rid of energy efficiency standards, how is Ireland anymore attractive than some rust belt city in middle American? I’ll answer for you, it’s not.
The reasons these companies came to Ireland in the first place have completely disappeared, whatever benefits we currently have with being in the EU is also enjoyed by many of cheaper alternatives. If anyone thinks the physical process being here means it can’t be moved due to cost has their head buried in the sand.
O’Zempic?
Pretty crazy that weight-loss drugs, which is something a lot of the world might want access to as a day-to-day drug requirement, could benefit Ireland so much. It like striking oil in Ireland if it was the 80s.
Imagine what we could do if we legalized cocaine.
I know three people on Mounjaro now and one on Ozempic (who actually has diabetes).
It’s revolutionary. Not just for weight loss, two of them are now off their blood pressure medication, all three have come off anti depressants, they’ve all adopted fitter lifestyles, actually exercising and walking and diet changed. Two of them have quit smoking (other two didn’t smoke) and three have cut alcohol with the fourth greatly reducing.
It’s very easy to say “just diet” or “exercise more”, I’ve seen these people struggle with their weight most of their lives and these medications, I believe, will actually extend their lives.
The one who is on Ozempic for diabetes, is in her 80s and now acts like a much younger woman, she’s enjoying life, active in her community and revitalised. The other three have literally turned 20-30 years around.
They should be adding them to the critical medications list ASAP
I just wish it was affordable here.
The Massive factory in Limerick isn’t even producing product until sometime next year. And they are still building more to the plant.
I think they have ploughed €1 Billion into the plant and that’s only growing
It’s a lot cheaper up north which deserves to be talked about more.
5mg in my local chemist = €375
5mg Corrys (Up north) = £200
The drug is called subscriber only article it seems
With the consumer AI bubble set to burst and its “awesome power” set to be used for porno only, the investor class need to push a product for rubes to cheat food cravings, get dependent and have to pay whatever price increases to keep shareholders happy. It is all so Dystopian. A plot straight out of Mega City One.
Wait until they release Retatrutide 💪🏼
yeah the economy really does feel robust with everything closing down, no infrastructure, no housing.
