He’d do it again when asked again. The Dutch however didn’t bother confiscating Solvinity which went in US hands and is an actual security vulnerability to the Dutch people and government. Their action/inaction makes it clear they had no intention to safeguard the chip supply, the Netherlands or even the EU nor would it have in any scenario.
China is the enemy.
My sense is Nexperia China will say they expect to run out of Hamburg wafers by the end of this year if not sooner, and they secured Chinese domestic wafers supply. And they are going to pay no more than token premium on Hamburg wafers.
Nothing will come out of meeting between Chinese and Dutch government. The Chinese don’t see a vassal state as equal.
