    1. So for me it’s a choice between a combination of naproxen and cocodamol or vape medical cannabis. I choose the latter, it’s more effective and less dangerous. Couldn’t care less what peoples opinion of the smell is. If it works it works!

Not sure why people associate cannabis with being lazy?

I admit I can’t stand the smell myself.

I know that drugs such as LSD were criminalised, because the US government didn’t like Hippies in the 1960’s-1970’s protesting against the Vietnam war. As they couldn’t just arrest them for peacefully protesting, but they were known to take LSD so making it illegal, made it easier to stop the protesters.

Cannabis I don’t know its history.

For me it’s either use cannabis gummies or rely on sleeping tablets that will one day give me Alzheimer’s…or just not sleep and get all of the health conditions that come as a result of that.

Slight aside, but I really hate how BBC have fallen into using that style headline

“I have anxiety, so I have a beer every morning to calm my nerves – but I’m worried people may think I’m an alcoholic.” Same vibe.

      > ‘White Widow’ and ‘Atomic Sour Grapefruit’ are some of the strains of cannabis patients have been prescribed by private clinics.

I don’t use it myself but it obviously seems to help some people. Names like those above sound more like something from a backstreet dealer than something a medical professional would prescribe though. Maybe the image needs work?

Also, is there a reason it needs to be vaped rather than made into a tablet? It seems to go against all we’ve been taught when you’re prescribed something that you vape (or in many cases smoke).

I’ve been a legal medicinal patient for 3 years and would never go back to the black market. If this information was more widespread or if full legalisation were to happen, I can say that a good chunk of most people would agree.

It’s just a shame that despite the shit loads the government could make via taxation, besides the Greens, no government would be willing to touch full legalisation. It doesn’t help that despite it being NHS doctors who are the ones working within these clinics, you’ll still face scrutiny from others for seeking MC treatment whilst they actively prescribe you far more harmful, and at times addictive medications instead.
