The funny thing is that Gaddafi’s hatred of Switzerland was an entirely personal vendetta. His son was briefly arrested by Switzerland in 2008 because he allegedly beat his servants, so of course Gaddafi immediately escalated to calling for Switzerland’s dissolution and annexation by neighboring countries.
