Seems like they don’t need to look far to find criminals in the party.

Not that horrifying to move past a drug related arrest
if SF got rid of every member with a criminal record, they would have like fewers members.
I don’t get it. The *partner* of a *former* member of the party was previously caught up in the drugs trade, was reformed, and believed to have returned to normal life. Once the new problematic behaviour was discovered, the person connected to them was swiftly removed from the party. So what’s the problem? Are SF meant to be clairvoyants or something with regard to party members’ potential future activities?
Don’t love the term, but this is a complete nothingburger.
