On November 8, Kyiv hosted the “Wild Race” a sporting event that brought together military personnel, professional athletes, amateurs, and children.
The competition combines running with obstacle challenges and has become an annual test of endurance, strength, and team spirit. This year, more than five hundred participants took on a course featuring over twenty obstacles – from crawling under nets to running with sandbags and climbing ropes.
The atmosphere on the track was both athletic and deeply emotional, as participants supported each other through fatigue and mud to reach the finish line.
The “Wild Race” has been held in Ukraine for six years in a row. Organizers emphasize that the event is not just about sport – it’s also a reminder that even in wartime, Ukrainians remain strong, united, and unbreakable.
