I’m trying to be very careful as I don’t want to shit on Ukrainians on this occasion.
It is very easy for the Russians to blend in with Ukrainians in Poland. Same language, same appearance, same customs. We have to be very careful because not every Ukrainian in Poland is actually an Ukrainian. To make it worse, some Ukrainians do think of themselves as Russians and want Ukraine to be part of Russia, or at least in Russian sphere of influence.
Saying that, if an Ukrainian seeking shelter in Poland running from Russia is helping Russia by purposely harm Poland, that is beyond condemnation and unjustifiable.

Poland wanted Ukrainians to stop glorifying Bandera and UPA – mission accomplished.

Tbh, I expected something like that, because now this sabotage serves more than one purpose.
Also, just a side note: after the occupation of Donbas and Crimea in 2014, Russia gained the ability to produce a “legitimate” document for a person born in those regions (since at the time most of the citizen registers were offline-only). That’s why I’m asked for additional documents every time I renew my Ukrainian ID and passport (I was born in Luhansk, so theoretically I could be a russian spy).

If russia can “buy” ukrainians to do shady things in Ukraine, what makes it impossible to do the same in Europe? Not every person is law abiding, some are in search of easy money. And it’s not only about ukrainians, other nationalities can be involved too. And in any case it’s equally bad.
