So don’t buy it. Lidl were doing two boxes of 12 (2×12) cans for €14 total. Bargain

    1l is 2e including deposit (2 for 3.50e plus 50c deposit)

  3. lI_Simo_Hayha_Il on

It is bad for your health anyway. They are giving you one more motive not to buy it.

You can get the share size in deals and some centra’s for 2 euro and centra on Shandon street have a 2 liter for 2 euro but yeah everywhere else is gone to shit with prices

What’s the price for a just-below-lukewarm one from Dealz?

You just have to get a meal deal with the most expensive combination to get <500ml soft drinks tbh, otherwise it’s a waste.

We are learning the meaning of what essential goods are.

Got 30 cans in b and m newry yesterday. 10 pound. We are being ripped off big time here

They’re doing you a favour if this prompts you to stop buying their muck.

Prices on the soft drinks have gone mad, got to keep the eye out for the deals. I got two 12 packs for 14 euro in lidl the weekend, cracking deal.

the current price for a 500 ml bottle of lucozade in the UK airports WHSmith is 4 POUND

..which is to say, they have no intention of stopping at €2.60

  11. VegetableFriendly344 on

I like how they’re cheaper in lidl for the same bottle by like 40 cent so tesco just get 40 cent more profit

The reason they keep adding on prices is because they think people are stupid. They know they’ll keep buying it despite the price increase, proving that people are infact stupid

  13. I remember when a tin of coke went over the euro and I couldn’t believe it. Don’t even know how much they are now, haven’t bought that shite years

  14. TommyTBlack on

    where is this?

2 litres of tesco coke is 99 cents

they also have Cadet (which is made in Ireland I believe) for a similar price

  15. Full-Seaweed-5116 on

Yet the 1L bottle is only 5 cents extra at €2.60. – Well, you know what you do then do you?

You can buy 3 2l bottles for 6 euros normally.

The extra charge for been in the fridge is ridiculous.

Would rather go thirsty than pay that. But i was lapping up Pepsi max when Tesco had it at 3 x 2L for a fiver

2 x 12pks of 330ml cans for €12 further back the shop (with clubcard). That’s 50c each (65c with deposit)

Singles of anything have always been outrageous prices and are only getting worse

My local shop charges €2.65 for a single chocolate bar. But there’s frequently a 4 pack on offer for €2 if you go to the shelves

It’s a fucker if you’re just running in at lunch and only want one of something but I frequently buy multipacks and stash some at the office and the rest in my car rather than pay stupud money for one of anything

  22. niko_starkiller on

If you’re buying from the fridge you’re paying a markup. Walk to the drinks aisle if you want value. You’re paying for the convenience.

I buy the 3 x 2l for €5 in Tescos and refill my water bottle from them. I keep some in work. Much cheaper than buying individual small bottles
