Before people even begin, the more leftist parties beat them, not right wing parties

      Very mysterious, no?

Thats what happens when you try to introduce the 1984 law

Good. These are the ones pushing chat control.

Even better news is: it is not right-wing parties beating them, it is the left-wing.

Lol, she wanted to spy on people’s lives like a little weasel and is now surprised that people didn’t like that.

Chat Control is to r/Europe what Palestine is to the left, lmao. People really think that 40-50 year olds care about that, like be fucking real.

Good. Pushing for Chat Control pretty much disqualifies you as a socialist, democratic party in my book.

Since nobody has stated this yet: This was local elections, not parliamentary. Mayors and city council members.

As such it’s not necessarily a direct consequence of what is happening at the government level – for instance the social democrat candidate for the supreme mayor of Copenhagen was a very disliked lady. So while some may be attributed to falling support for the government a lot of other factors come in to play in local elections.

Another contributing factor to the decline may be the social democratic right turn over the past many years. Especially a hard line on immigration and lack of support for the working class may have driven some people traditionally voting for the social democrats to vote further left this time.
