The Netherlands already had a scandal a few years ago with the Roemer report, which showed that Dutch companies and employment agencies systematically exploited foreign and/or immigrant workers to work overtime while being underpaid and sometimes even in unsafe working conditions. This unfortunately had little effect on the public and political discourse, with politicians who continue to treat foreigners as scapegoats for any and all problems of Dutch society even as many of those same foreigners are systematically exploited.

It’s not surprising, but definitely disappointing and a bit worrying that the same appears to be happening in Belgium as well…
