Qualcuno potrebbe aiutare?

The ASUS is not a modem, it is a router. You need a cable modem to access the internet (if they are offering you a Kaapelimodeemi). You could buy both and set the cable modem to bridged mode.
>I also don’t have any network cables or ONT devices inside the apartment. Does the internet come from the TV cable sockets from the wall? Could someone help?
No, random people on the internet will not be able to tell you what kind of internet connection your apartment might have. Do you have a broadband connection opened with DNA?
I very highly recommend getting a Fritz!Box cable modem instead of DNA’s Sagemcom ones. If you google just a little bit I’m sure you’ll find lots of complaints. I suffered years of headache before getting mine. Personally I bought the 6660 model from Tori and it’s worked like a dream. You will have to call DNA customer service and tell them the MAC address of your modem to get it whitelisted but it’s very easy to do.
I haven’t seen apartments where cable internet would not be coming out of the cable tv socket but I can’t promise you they don’t exist. You simply need a splitter that lets you connect both your TV and modem to the same socket. For example: [https://www.verkkokauppa.com/fi/product/699158/Nedis-TV-Data-jaotin-televisio-ja-kaapelimodeemikayttoon](https://www.verkkokauppa.com/fi/product/699158/Nedis-TV-Data-jaotin-televisio-ja-kaapelimodeemikayttoon.The) modem should come with the cable that you connect to the splitter.
What they are trying to sell you is a modem+router combo. As it’s suggesting you buy a cable modem I’m gonna assume your apartment uses the TV antenna socket for internet access. Their customer service should definitely be able to tell you that.
The modem is for converting between mediums, so in this case the single coaxial cable (TV atenna) gets converted to RJ45 ethernet. The router is responsible for sharing that single connection so that multiple devices like your phone, laptop etc. can access the internet through that single wall connection. There’s also a WiFi modem built in.
You can buy the Asus thing you mentioned but as it’s only a router+wifi modem it can’t connect to the TV antenna. You still need a cable modem for that. If your apartment was newer the Asus router would work as then you would have an RJ45 connection. You can get cable modems used on Tori.fi for example, they are like 20€. Doesn’t have to be DNA specifically either, you can just enter the device’s MAC address on their website and it should connect as long as it’s not extremely old.
Any modem you can buy from a store is compatible. Make sure it isn’t for “mobiililaajakaista”, mobile broadband. Unless you intend on getting a SIM-card for it.
If you live in an apartment through lets say Lumo or similar, I’d bet the internet is fed through the electrical box. Sheet metal cabinet in the wall most likely. Should have instructions inside.
If not, contact whoever you’re renting through, or the isännöitsijä for more info.
People here already gave you all the answers so just as a rule don’t trust what DNA says, they obviously want to sell you their stuff. When they were converting our apartment from old tv cable internet to ethernet they were pushing hard to sell their router saying the modem from them we used won’t work anymore. It obviously did coz it was router and modem in one.
You’ll need their modem to authenticate to their network mostly and to convert the coax to ethernet, you can just use it in bridge mode and let your asus RT shine through. That’s how I run my edgerouter 4 without issues! dual stack IPV4+Ipv6 as well!

You need a kaapelimodeemi, like in the picture. That connects to the tv socket. The asus one you are talking about is a router.
I suggest getting one from tori, then give the mac address to dna.
